Bomb Scare At Long Beach Middle School Leads To Lockdown
A possible pipe bomb seen near a Long Beach middle school lead to a campus-wide lock down Tuesday morning.

LONG BEACH, CA — Students at one Long Beach Middle School were under lockdown Tuesday morning due to a potential bomb threat, according to reports.
According to KTLA, a pipe bomb or something that resembled a pipe bomb was found in a grassy area near Hamilton Middle School, but police did not confirm those reports. Long Beach Police Department officers and K-9 units began canvassing the campus just after 8:30 a.m., KTLA said.
Parents gathered outside the school as students were ushered into the school's auditorium as a precaution.
