Bomb Threat At CSULB Prompts Evacuations Of Academic Buildings
Multiple buildings on the CSULB campus were evacuated on Wednesday due to a bomb threat, university officials said.

LONG BEACH, CA — A bomb threat at California State University, Long Beach prompted evacuations of multiple buildings on the campus Wednesday afternoon, officials announced.
The Library and Academic Services buildings were evacuated, university officials said. Students and the public were advised to avoid the area until further notice.
"The University has received a bomb threat targeting the campus Library," the CSULB University Police Department said in a statement. "If you are inside the Library or the adjoining Academic Services building evacuate now."

After a thorough search of the Library building, police issued an all clear for the campus at 6:01 p.m. Multiple K9 teams from the Long Beach Police Department aided with the investigation.
"There is no threat at this time. The Library will remain closed for the remainder of the day. Normal operations will resume tomorrow morning," CSULB officials said in a statement.
