LONG BEACH, CA -- A Long Beach man was found dead early Friday morning with an apparent gunshot wound. Police officers said they found the man around 12: 41 a.m. in the area of the 710 Freeway and Anaheim street. Upon arrival, officers found an unresponsive male adult in a vehicle that appeared to have driven off roadway into ivy at slow speeds, police said.Further investigation found that the victim, identified as 31-year-old Glen Chico, had died after being shot in his upper torso. It's unknown where the shooting happened, police said.Homicide detectives responded and the investigation is ongoing.Anyone with information is urged to call Homicide Detectives Donald Goodman and Mark Mattia at (562) 570-7244. --Photo via Shutterstock
