LONG BEACH, CA — Long Beach police arrested the driver of a vehicle that was stuck in the sand at Alamitos Beach early Monday morning.At about 1:14 a.m., police noticed the vehicle stuck in the sand in the 2100 block of Ocean Boulevard. Officers initiated a driving under the influence investigation on the driver.During the investigation, police located a firearm in the vehicle. The driver was safely arrested and police recovered the gun.No additional information about the incident was available.
