LONG BEACH, CA — Police in Long Beach recovered a handgun and arrested a suspect during a traffic stop this week, the Long Beach Police Department said Thursday. The traffic stop occurred about 6:45 p.m. Wednesday on the 1700 block of Long Beach Boulevard, the LBPD said. Officers recovered a handgun during stop a suspect was taken into custody. Neither the person's name, nor any other details were released. The investigation is ongoing.
