Here's What Recreational Classes Long Beach Is Offering This Summer

LONG BEACH, CA — More than 700 recreational activities will be available this summer through Long Beach's Department of Parks, Recreation and Marine.

Registration opens May 5, and anyone interested can register online or by visiting the reservation officers at 2760 Studebaker Rd. Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The activities include a variety of topics catering to all ages, including art, music, fitness, aquatics and adult sports leagues, Long Beach city officials said in a statement last month.

Parents can sign up their preschoolers for activities such as sports skills camp, cooking classes or a hip hop tots dance. Teens and adults can sign up for self-defense courses, dance classes and art lessons.
