Hit-And-Run Crash Seriously Injures Woman In Long Beach
Long Beach police sought the public's help in identifying the driver of a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run collision.

LONG BEACH, CA — Long Beach police are searching for the driver of a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run that seriously injured a woman.
Police responded to the intersection of California Avenue and San Antonio Drive at 4:45 p.m. on Dec. 26 to investigate a traffic collision. When officers arrived, they spoke with a woman who was involved in the crash.
The woman told Long Beach Police Department officers that a tan Toyota Avalon was traveling eastbound on San Antonio Drive when it ran a red light and collided with her vehicle. The other driver briefly got out of his car, then got back in and fled the scene, according to LBPD.

Despite declining medical treatment at the scene, the woman took herself to a medical facility a few hours after the indident.
