It put up a good fight, but KH Market has finally shut down to make room for the area’s redevelopment. With the onset of shark season, you will once again see shark shacks at the beaches. Moreover, fully vaccinated people are still urged to exercise care around unvaccinated at-risk residents.

Sunny Southern California doesn’t disappoint with June temperatures reaching 72° for the high and 60° for the low. Odds are good it’ll be partly cloudy, in keeping with our typical June Gloom.

1. The beloved KH Market in the City’s Cambodia Town has shut down after serving customers for 15 years. McKently Malak Architects intends to demolish the location as part of a redevelopment project. (LB Post)
