Long Beach Man Raped Victim, Robbed Them In Bakersfield: Police
Police say the sexual assault and robbery happened Friday, Aug. 29 in Downtown Bakersfield.
LONG BEACH, CA — A Long Beach man has been arrested after police say he raped someone, robbed them and then stole their car in Bakersfield last month.
It's unclear exactly what led up to the incident, but police say it happened Friday, Aug. 29, in Downtown Bakersfield.
Officers located the suspect near the Tejon outlets as he tried to re-enter the stolen car, the Bakersfield Police Department said in a statement Tuesday.

There, they took him into custody on suspicion of false imprisonment, rape by force or fear, burglary, grand theft, possession of stolen property, possession of a stolen vehicle, destroying or obstructing a wireless device and grand theft auto, according to police.
