Long Beach Pride Parade Selects 'Real Housewives' Lisa Vanderpump As Grand Marshal
Vanderpump was the recipient of the Ally Leadership Award from Equality California, an LGBT rights organization, in 2015.

BEVERLY HILLS, CA -- Lisa Vanderpump, the star of "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," was selected Monday as the Celebrity Parade Grand Marshal for the 34th annual Long Beach Lesbian & Gay Pride Parade, the organization announced.
The parade will be held on May 21, 2017. Vanderpump was selected dedication and work on behalf the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community. She was the recipient of the Ally Leadership Award from Equality California, an LGBT rights organization, in 2015.
"It is an honor to be recognized by a community that you love so dearly that they are embedded in your heart", Vanderpump said. "Together we have passed several milestones but we are not finished yet and I plan on being here every step of the way."

Vanderpump has become known around the globe from her two Bravo TV shows, "Vanderpump Rules," which she executive produces, and "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills."
