Long Beach School Earns 2024 National Blue Ribbon Award

The LBUSD school is among 356 schools nationwide that won America's top honor for individual schools.

LONG BEACH, CA — The California Academy of Mathematics and Science was awarded National Blue Ribbon Award status, a prestigious honor given by the U.S. Department of Education.

The honor is based on a school's overall academic performance or progress in closing achievement gaps among student subgroups. It also validates the hard work of students, educators, families and communities in attaining scholastic achievement.

CAMS has earned National Blue Ribbon status in 2004, 2011, 2017 and now 2024.
