Jim Arvizu said.Staff informed firefighters that a 70-year-old man had sustained burns, Arvizu said, adding that the patient was first treated at the VA hospital and then transferred to another hospital's burn unit.The man's condition was not available and his name has not been released. He was a patient in the hospital's hospice unit, according to the Press-Telegram.The cause of the fire is under investigation.
