Man Dies In Crash Near Cal State Long Beach

The crash happened early Monday morning in the area of Seventh Street and Margo Avenue, according to police.

LONG BEACH, CA — A man died Monday morning when he crashed into a wall near Cal State Long Beach, according to police.

Police say the man was speeding westbound on Seventh Street in a Ford Mustang when he lost control of the car, veered off the road and crashed into a wall near Margo Avenue.

He died at the scene, the Long Beach Police Department said in a press release. No other injuries were reported.

The man's identity was not immediately released as the Los Angeles Medical Examiner's Office works to notify his relatives of his death.
