BELLFLOWER, CA — Authorities are investigating a shooting in Bellflower Monday night that left a man dead, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Office. Details about the shooting were limited as of Tuesday morning, but deputies say it happened around 9:16 p.m. in the 14000 block of Bellflower Boulevard. <a href="https://www.cbsnews.com/losangeles/news/man-shot-killed-bellflower-park/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Footage captured by CBS News</a> showed police tape and a heavy police presence at T. Mayne Thomspon Park, just a short walk from St. John Bosco High School. There, responding deputies found a man with at least one gunshot wound. The man was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the LASD. The man was not immediately identified. The LASD asks that anyone with more information on the shooting contact homicide investigators at 323-890-5500.
