Man Fatally Shot Near St. John Bosco High School In Bellflower
The deadly shooting happened Monday night in the 14000 block of Bellflower Boulevard, according to authorities.
BELLFLOWER, CA — Authorities are investigating a shooting in Bellflower Monday night that left a man dead, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Office.
Details about the shooting were limited as of Tuesday morning, but deputies say it happened around 9:16 p.m. in the 14000 block of Bellflower Boulevard. Footage captured by CBS News showed police tape and a heavy police presence at T. Mayne Thomspon Park, just a short walk from St. John Bosco High School.
There, responding deputies found a man with at least one gunshot wound. The man was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the LASD. The man was not immediately identified.
