Man Found Dead In Long Beach, Detectives Investigating
Police say they found a man with a stab wound around 7:40 a.m. in the 200 block of West Wardlow Road.
LONG BEACH, CA — Police say they're investigating the death of a man who was found with a stab wound in Long Beach Monday morning.
Officers responded around 7:40 a.m. to the 200 block of West Wardlow Road after someone alerted them about a man with a stab wound, according to the Long Beach Police Department.
When they arrived at the scene, the officers rendered aid to the man until Long Beach Fire personnel took over and pronounced the man dead at the scene, police said.

The man's identity was not immediately revealed as the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's Office works to notify his relatives.
It's unclear if someone stabbed the man, with police classifying the death as undetermined. Homicide detectives are currently looking into the circumstances surrounding the death.

The medical examiner's office will also determine what caused the death.
