Man Found Shot To Death Under Long Beach Freeway: Police
Police say they found the man's body Wednesday around 11:18 a.m.
LONG BEACH, CA — Detectives are investigating the death of a man found with a gunshot wound under a freeway in Long Beach Wednesday morning, according to police.
Authorities found the man's body around 11:18 a.m. near the Gardena (91) Freeway and the Los Angeles riverbed. He had been shot at least once in the upper body and died at the scene, according to the Long Beach Police Department.
Details were limited as of Thursday, with police saying the circumstances and motive for the shooting remain under investigation.

The man's identity, meanwhile, was not immediately released. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's Office is working to notify his relatives of his death, according to authorities.
