Man Held On $35k Bail For Negligent Gunfire

A man was arrested on suspicion of shooting a gun outside in a negligent manner, but no injuries were reported according to LBPD.

LONG BEACH, CA — A man was arrested on suspicion of shooting a gun outside in a negligent manner, but no injuries were reported according to the Long Beach Police Department.

Officers received a report of a man with a gun at about 5:06 p.m. on Dec. 17 in the 3200 block of Chestnut Avenue. According to LBPD, the man shot a gun outside but remained on the scene and was arrested.

The gun was recovered and no injuries were reported.
