Man Stabbed In Long Beach; Attacker At Large
The stabbing occurred Sunday evening. Police released few details about the attack.
LONG BEACH, CA — A man suffered a stab wound to the upper body during an assault by a suspect in Long Beach, authorities said Sunday.
The victim was attacked while inside a location in the 700 block of Magnolia Avenue, the Long Beach Police Department reported.
Officers dispatched to that location at about 5:45 p.m. Saturday located the victim, who was then taken to a hospital by paramedics. He was expected to survive his wounds.

The preliminary investigation indicated that the victim was indoors when he was stabbed, police said. The suspect fled the scene before officers arrived.
The motive for the stabbing is under investigation.
