Man Stabs Teen On Long Beach Street
Police said a boy who was stabbed Saturday night was not cooperating with their investigation.
LONG BEACH, CA — A boy was stabbed in Long Beach and was uncooperative with police in providing any details about the assault, authorities said Sunday.
Officers dispatched at about 9:30 p.m. Saturday to the 1000 block of Dawson Avenue, regarding a stabbing, located a teenager suffering from a non- life-threatening wound to the upper body, the Long Beach Police Department reported.
Paramedics took him to a hospital. A subsequent investigation revealed that a man walked up to the boy in the 1000 block of Orange Avenue and stabbed him once in the upper body.

"The victim was uncooperative with the investigation," according to a police statement. "Responding officers were unable to locate a crime scene. The investigation is ongoing."
