LONG BEACH, CA — A man suffered non-life-threatening stab wounds in Long Beach, authorities said Sunday.

Officers dispatched at 3:55 a.m. Saturday to the 3700 block of Pacific Place, just south of the San Diego (405) Freeway in the Wrigley Heights neighborhood, located a man suffering from wounds to the upper body, the Long Beach Police Department reported.

Paramedics rushed him to a hospital.

"The motive, circumstances of the stabbing, and suspect information are under investigation," according to a police statement.
