HSI agents responded early Monday morning to a call from U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents, who saw 12 people being dropped off by a pleasure boat in Long Beach, according to authorities. <a href="https://x.com/HSILosAngeles/status/1927161724941004995" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">The HSI said in a post on X</a> that the 12 people were Mexican citizens who had traveled up the California coast to Long Beach. A picture posted by the federal agency shows the 12 people wrapped in mylar blankets and wearing zip ties.
