  1. The LB Animal Shelter announces that its new adoption procedures are working, resulting in reduced stays. Success is due to an increase in transfer partners and the creation of adoption holds for animals still in their mandatory waiting periods. (City of LB)
  2. Sunrise Senior Living proposes to build an 85-unit facility at 3340 Los Coyotes Diagonal. (LPReport.com)
  3. The LB PD seized “hundreds of pounds” of illegal fireworks. (@LPBD)
  4. A commercial building fire was no match for the LB FD. It burned in the early evening hours on the 1400 block of Long Beach Boulevard. (@LBFD)
