Officer-Involved Shooting Leaves Suspect Dead
The individual's age and gender have not been disclosed.

An officer-involved shooting in Long Beach today left a suspect dead, police said.
Officers were sent to the 2300 block of Eucalyptus Avenue about 8:10 a.m. “regarding an ‘assist the citizen’ call involving a runaway juvenile,” said Marlene Arrona of the Long Beach Police Department.
“During the course of the investigation, an officer-involved shooting occurred,” according to Arrona, who said a person described only as a “suspect” was pronounced dead at the scene.

The individual’s gender and age were not immediately disclosed.
No officers were injured, Arrona said.
