TORRANCE, CA - A section of Pacific Coast Highway was closed in the Torrance area Friday after a vehicle crashed into a power pole, police said.The crash happened about 4:30 a.m. east of Crenshaw Boulevard, the Torrance Police Department said.The motorist suffered a minor injury in the single-vehicle crash, police said.Some live power wires were downed as a result of the crash,That prompted authorities to close PCH from Crenshaw to Pennsylvania Avenue while crews worked to clear the scene.The closure was continuing nearly four hours later, police said.--City News Service, photo via Shutterstock
