Here's the latest from Long Beach, delivered straight to your inbox — for free!

Good day, neighbors! It's me again, Sylvia, your host of the Long Beach Daily.
Officials have declared the Admiral Kidd playground a total loss. It may take a year or so to replace it. Also, in spite of the eviction moratorium, there have been 138 evictions in the City in the first three months of 2021. Finally, a new-to-CSULB program could be the antidote to a 50% recidivism rate of formerly incarcerated residents.
First, today's weather: Clear throughout the day. High: 83 Low: 63.
