LONG BEACH, CA — Police are investigating a shooting in Long Beach where officers located evidence that a shooting had occurred, yet no injuries were reported, authorities said Sunday.

Officers heard gunshots at about 1:15 a.m. Saturday in the 900 block of Park Circle, the Long Beach Police Department reported.

"Upon further investigation, officers located evidence indicating a shooting had occurred," according to a police statement. "Suspect information and the motive for the shooting are under investigation. No injuries were reported."
