Long Beach police located evidence of a shooting near Long Beach Polytechnic High School but couldn't locate a victim or suspect.

LONG BEACH, CA — Long Beach police located evidence of a shooting near Long Beach Polytechnic High School but couldn't locate a victim or suspect late Wednesday night.
The Long Beach Police Department got a call about the shooting at about 11:07 p.m. and responded to the 600 block of East Esther Street. When officers arrived, they were able to locate bullet casings to indicate that a shooting had happened, but no other people were at the scene.
No injuries were reported in connection to the shooting. Information about the suspect's identity or their motive is unknown.
