First Things First: Today’s Weather and Allergy Outlook

Sunny Southern California doesn’t disappoint, with June temperatures reaching 73° for the high and 56° for the low. Odds are good it’ll be partly cloudy, in keeping with our typical June Gloom.

Even though it’s grass pollen season, along with olives and nettles, levels of pollen in the air are reducing but still considered low to medium.

1. The new rainbow-colored lifeguard tower will be dedicated Thursday at 5 p.m. It replaces the tower near 12th Place, which burned in a fire. The Mayor suspects arson, although the investigation is still ongoing. (LB Post)
