Recognize This Hit-And-Run Driver In Long Beach?

The crash happened in the area of Del Amo Boulevard and Brayton Avenue, according to police.

LONG BEACH, CA — Detectives are seeking the public's help in finding the driver in a hit-and-run crash in North Long Beach last month that left one person hospitalized, police said in a statement today.

The driver was traveling westbound on Del Amo Boulevard in a dark-colored Toyota pickup around 9:07 a.m. on March 26, when he crashed into another car, according to the Long Beach Police Department.

Police said the man then got out of the truck and inspected the damages before driving off northbound on Brayton Avenue.

The driver of the other car was taken to a local hospital with moderate injuries but non-life-threatening injuries, the LBPD said.

Police described the suspect as a heavy-set White or Hispanic Male with brown hair and a beard. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, multi-colored pajamas and light-colored shoes that look like Crocs.
