Suspect At Large After No-Hit Shooting In North Long Beach
Long Beach police received a report of a shooting Tuesday night, but no people were at the scene when they arrived.

LONG BEACH, CA — A shooting suspect is still at large after police discovered evidence that a shooting took place in North Long Beach.
Police received a report of a shooting at about 11:23 p.m. in the 5900 block of Orange Avenue. When officers arrived, they found evidence of a shooting but no people were at the scene.
Preliminary investigation results suggest that two men were on the sidewalk when one man discharged a firearm and then fled the scene before officers arrived.

"No injuries were reported, no suspect information is known, and the motive for the shooting is unknown," the Long Beach Police Department said in a statement.
The investigation is ongoing, LBPD said.
