Rise and shine, Long Beach! Let's get you started this Thursday with everything you need to know going on today in town.

Following on the heels of the announcement that health care workers would need to show proof of vaccination, the Mayor took the mandate further. LB City workers now also have to comply. Asking the Mayor to hold its beer, CSU is doing the same thing. Also, a man was a victim of stray gunfire in his backyard. Good grief.

First, today's weather: Clear throughout the day. High: 81 Low: 66.
