Vice Mayor Rex Richardson to Host First North Long Beach Mural Arts Tour
The tour is scheduled to take place Saturday, July 30 at 10 a.m.

Long Beach Vice Mayor Rex Richardson invites the public to attend the Creative Corridor Challenge Mural Tour. Attendees will take the tour on a Long Beach Transit bus and visit seven murals throughout the district. Each stop will also include an overview by each mural artist.
The Creative Corridor Challenge is a project led by the Office of Vice Mayor Richardson to beautify North Long Beach corridors through mural placement in partnership with the Arts Council for Long Beach, Squeeze Art Collective and District 9 residents.

Stops will include Houghton Park (pickup), located at 6301 Myrtle Ave., 555 E. Artesia Blvd., 6900 Long Beach Blvd., Artesia Blvd. and Atlantic. Ave., 1639 E. Artesia Blvd., 6401 Downey Ave., 5881 Cherry Ave. and 1639 E. South St.
