Woman, 77, Goes Missing In Long Beach

Authorities are asking for the public's help finding a woman who went missing in Long Beach over the weekend.

LONG BEACH, CA — Authorities asked for the public's help finding an at-risk 77-year-old woman who went missing Sunday in Long Beach.

Margarita Espino was last seen at around 9:30 a.m. Sunday at Pepperwood Avenue and East Arbor Road in the Lakewood Village area of East Long Beach. She is believed to be on foot, according to the California Highway Patrol, which activated a Silver Alert for Espino.

Espino is a 5-foot-1 Hispanic woman who weighs 100 pounds. She has gray hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a light purple long-sleeved shirt and blue jeans.
