Woman Shot In North Long Beach Transports Herself To Hospital
A woman was shot in North Long Beach Monday night, according to the Long Beach Police Department.

LONG BEACH, CA — A woman was shot in North Long Beach Monday night, according to the Long Beach Police Department.
Police said they received a report about a shooting in the 6000 block of Olive Avenue at 9:31 p.m., but when officers arrived there was no victim at the scene. LBPD said they located evidence that a shooting occurred, including bullet casings.
Later in the night, officers said they located a woman with a non-life-threatening injury to the lower body at a local hospital. According to LBPD, the woman was uncooperative with the investigation.

Preliminary investigation indicated that multiple suspects arrived in a vehicle, shot at the woman and fled the scene before police arrived.
The motive for the shooting is still under investigation, LBPD said.
