2 House Burglary Suspects Nabbed In LA, 2 Remain At Large
Two burglary suspects are in police custody today, but 2 more remain at large after they led police on a high speed chase through LA.
LOS ANGELES -- Two burglary suspects are in police custody today while two other remain at large after they led police on a high sped freeway chase that ended in Silver Lake bordering Echo Park.
The pursuit began around 9 p.m. Thursday after Orange County Sheriff's Department deputies responded to a residential burglary in progress Mission Viejo, NBC 4 reported. The suspects sped away from the scene in a silver SUV after allegedly stealing several guns from a home and drove over 100 mph across multiple freeways, including the Long Beach (710) Freeway, the Pomona (60)
Freeway and the Orange (57) Freeway before switching to the Hollywood (101) Freeway with the California Highway Patrol in pursuit.
The chase ended at Coronado Street and Bellevue Avenue near Echo Park when the suspects abandoned the SUV they were driving and were pursued on foot by CHP officers. Two of the suspects were captured near Rampart Boulevard and the 101 Freeway Thursday night, Fox 11 reported.
