LA County Fair Kicks Of Thursday, Celebrating 100 Years

The Los Angeles County Fair returns on Thursday, May 5 and lasts through Monday, May 30, which is Memorial Day.

LOS ANGELES COUNTY -- The Los Angeles County Fair returns to the fairgrounds in Pomona on Thursday, May 5 and lasts through Monday, May 30, which is Memorial Day.

This year's theme is "Back to Our Roots," in recognition of the fair's first being established 100 years ago, in 1922.

But despite the theme, the fair is trying something very new this year. For the first time, parking and admission will be a cashless process. Fairgoers can buy admission and parking before they arrive. In order to avoid the lines, you can arrive with your parking and admission already queued up on your phone.
