Traffic is at a near-standstill on the 210 Freeway after a crash that shut down nearly all lanes Monday afternoon.

IRWINDALE, CA — Traffic is at a near-standstill on the westbound 210 Freeway following a crash in Irwindale that led to nearly all lanes being shut down, according to the California Highway Patrol.
All mainline lanes of the westbound 210 were closed at around noon after a crash involving a truck that leaked diesel onto the roadway near the Irwindale Avenue exit, just before the junction with the 605 Freeway. The lanes were expected to be closed for at least two hours to accommodate the cleanup, the CHP said.
