3 Mobile Homes Burned In Los Angeles County

Three mobile homes were burned near the Torrance Refinery Company, authorities reported.

TORRANCE, CA — Three mobile homes were burned near the Torrance Refinery Company, authorities reported.

The fire in the 3700 block of W. 190th St. was reported around 9 a.m. Saturday, according to the Torrance Fire Department. The flames were extinguished in less than an hour.

Assistant Chief Adam Brown of the Torrance Fire Department told reporters that the mobile homes were bolted together and were being used as temporary quarters for contractors.

Authorities said refinery operations were not impacted and no offsite impact has been reported.

There were no injuries, and the cause of the fire was being investigated.
