3 SigAlerts Jam Rush Hour Traffic In Los Angeles County
Drivers are advised to expect delays due to a series of crashes from the south end of the county to the north Monday afternoon.

LOS ANGELES, CA — Multiple crashes tied up traffic across Los Angeles County, prompting the California Highway Patrol to issue three SigAlerts headed into the Monday afternoon rush hour.
In the Harbor Gateway area, the CHP issued a SigAlert for the southbound Harbor (110) Freeway transition to the eastbound Artesia (91) Freeway at 4:20 p.m. The transition road is expected to remain closed for about three hours due to an overturned big rig, according to the CHP.
In Pasadena, two lanes on the Foothill (210) Freeway in Pasadena were temporarily blocked Monday due to an unknown slippery substance spilled on the road.

At around 2:30 p.m. Monday, the California Highway Patrol issued a SigAlert on the westbound freeway by Lake Avenue, due to what was described as a "road hazard."
Crews were working to clear the road of the substance, according to the CHP.

No further information was immediately available on the hazard.
Shortly before 4 p.m., the CHP also issued a Sigalert for all northbound lanes of Highway 14 west of Avenue D in Lancaster for two hours due to a traffic collision. At 4:06 p.m., one lane was opened to traffic.
