50 Involved In Street Takeover Loot South LA Auto Parts Store

LOS ANGELES, CA — About 50 people involved in a street takeover turned their attention on looting an auto parts store Monday morning in the Vermont Vista area of Los Angeles.

About 50 people broke the glass and entered the Auto Zone store at 3:50 a.m. at Century Boulevard and Hoover Street, Los Angeles Police Department Officer David Cuellar told City News Service.

Video on Fox 11 showed cans and other items dropped outside the store by suspects in their haste to get away.

Officers pursued one vehicle to Pepper Street and Sycamore Avenue in El Segundo where one suspect was taken into custody, Cuellar said.
