Are You Holding The $5.4M Powerball Ticket Sold In LA County?

The Powerball jackpot for Monday's drawing is now estimated to be fourth-largest in the history of the game.

LOS ANGELES, CA — One lucky Southern California Powerball player won $5,422,749 in Saturday night's jackpot.

A ticket with five of the winning numbers but missing the Powerball number was sold in Los Angeles County. Saturday's $5.4 million-winning ticket was sold at Thirst Quencher Liquor at 440 North Glenoaks Boulevard in Burbank.

The multi-state Powerball lottery had no winning tickets with all six numbers, pushing the jackpot for Monday's drawing up to $785 million, the fourth-largest in the history of the game which began in 1992 and the ninth-largest lottery jackpot in U.S. history.

The numbers drawn Saturday were 1, 12, 20, 33, 66 and the Powerball number was 21. The drawing was the 28th since the last time a ticket with all six numbers was sold.

The odds of matching all five numbers and the Powerball number is 1 in 292.2 million, according to the Multi-State Lottery Association. The overall chance of winning a prize is 1 in 24.9.
