Brush Fire Closes State Route 110: Police

The road was closed near Interstate 5 due to a brush fire, police said.

LOS ANGELES — Two major roadways in Los Angeles were affected Sunday afternoon by a brush fire, according to authorities.

A Sigalert was issued around 3 p.m. in the area of State Route 110 and Interstate 5, police said. Northbound access to I-5 from SR 110 was blocked due to the fire, according to police.

The alert was canceled about an hour later and the road reopened, police said.
