Voters are being asked to unseat Gov. Gavin Newsom. Why do you think he should be recalled?
Gov. Newsom has completely failed during and before the pandemic. We have the highest gas tax, income tax and sales tax, and nearly the worst education and roads in the country. We are first on every list you want to be last on, and last on every list you want to be first on. Shutting down California has crippled our small businesses. Gov. Newsom’s response to COVID has been a complete failure, causing small businesses to close their doors and thousands to be out of work.
How does your experience — professional or political — make you the right candidate to replace Newsom?
First watch my intro video at SamGallucci.com for an overview of the answer to your question.
#2. 60 years in California living and raising my family here lived in LA, SanDiego, San Francisco
40-year career as follows:
#3. 20-year entrepreneur and high tech business executive, creating jobs for Californians.
#4. 12 years as a Pastor to the homeless, I have personally helped [get] over 4000 off the streets.
#5. Founder of the Kingdom Centers- emergency shelters and transitional living center, created a new model for addressing Homelessness in local cities
#6. 7 years as a Pastor to Latino Migrant farm workers, addressing the undocumented crisis in Oxnard.
#7. I am not a politician, I am a Californian that cares enough to jump into this race to address our most critical issues and bring all Californians together!
Relative to the other candidates, I believe I have the best-proven experience and compassion to win this race.
What sets you apart from the other candidates for governor?
My compassion experience to solve Californians most pressing issues like homelessness and immigration. I am the only candidate with a proven plan to address California's homeless crisis without spending more taxpayer dollars.
My business experiences [will] help create jobs, lower taxes, and roll back regulations that hurt job growth and cause people to leave California.
Describe one of Newsom’s policies or actions that have not worked, and what would you have done differently in the same situation.
These covid solutions and policies have not worked. I am 100% opposed to a mask mandate and/or a lockdown. They didn't work before, they won't work again. I will not institute a mask mandate, a vaccine mandate or a lockdown.
His forest management policies have been a complete disaster and his water policies have not worked. We must create more storage and strategically deforest areas before fire season. My administration will employ better forest management solutions. We will reduce power lines, and expand desalination water plants to increase water our state can use. We must create more water storage to capture water and hold it. Storage is a top solution to our water crisis. Gov. Newsom has failed to provide solutions for wildfires and our drought conditions.
Are there any of Gov. Newsom’s policies that you approve of, and if so, why?
No.
How would you try to change or influence California’s political culture?
We need to restore moral leadership in Sacramento.
What is the single most important thing California must do to emerge from the coronavirus pandemic, and what would you do in your first year to bring that about?
Educate our population. We cannot shut down our economy!
The best advice ever shared with me was:
What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?
I believe the soul of our state has been lost.
I am running for Governor to make California the golden state once again. I will unite Republicans, Democrats, Independents and others for a better California by utilizing every aspect of innovation that our state produces to spur job growth, improve education and effectively solve our homeless crisis. Together, we can bring California back!
