The suspect put his car in reverse and rammed into another sheriff's vehicle before rolling onto a sidewalk and into a pole. That is when he was quickly pinned in place by pursuing deputies. The suspect then appeared to be spinning the car's wheels, prompting deputies to open fire, shattering the rear window and splattering blood across the front windshield, according to footage from the scene.
After the shooting, the suspect stopped moving.
