Cocaine-Selling Operation Was Hidden In RV Next To Homeless Encampment: LAPD
An RV parked next to a homeless encampment wasn't used as living quarters, but as the base of a cocaine trafficking operation, police say.

LOS ANGELES, CA — Police say they've arrested two people responsible for a cocaine-selling operation that was hiding in plain sight: concealed inside an RV next to a homeless encampment, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Narcotics investigators and gang-unit officers served a search warrant on the 1400 block of North Sierra Bonita Avenue in Hollywood on Jan. 31, which led them to the RV, which was parked on the 900 block of South Beacon Avenue in Westlake, according to an LAPD release.
The RV was parked next to a homeless encampment in an area known for drug-related activity, police said.
