Firefighter Struck By Vehicle In Hit-And-Run In Los Angeles County
Paramedics rushed the firefighter to a hospital, where he was listed in serious condition.

LOS ANGELES, CA — A Los Angeles County firefighter was struck by a vehicle and seriously injured Sunday while responding to a sheared hydrant in the unincorporated Windsor Hills community, authorities said.
The injury occurred at about 3 a.m. in the area of Stocker Street and Palmero Boulevard, according to Capt. John McClaskey of the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
McClaskey said he had no description of the vehicle that struck the 59- year-old firefighter.
