Half-Naked Woman Struck, Killed On 91 Freeway In Carson ID'd
The woman died from multiple blunt traumatic injuries in an accident, the Medical Examiner's office said.
CARSON, CA — A woman who was not wearing pants and was fatally struck as she walked across lanes of the Gardena (91) Freeway in Carson was identified Sunday.
Lizbeth Torres was 35 years old and died from multiple blunt traumatic injuries in an accident, the Medical Examiner's office said.
The California Highway Patrol was first informed at 6:39 p.m. Saturday about the woman walking in eastbound lanes just east of Main Street.

Around 6:50 p.m., witnesses began reporting the woman was struck, according to the CHP.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Three eastbound lanes were shut down until just after 10 p.m.
