LOS ANGELES, CA — It'll be easier for music lovers in the San Fernando Valley to head to and from the Hollywood Bowl after the venue announced Monday that it has expended its network of Park & Ride locations.

The newest location is located at the Sylmar Metrolink Station in the northeast San Fernando Valley. Like with the rest of the Park & Ride locations, concertgoers will be able to drive or take public transit to the Sylmar station and ride a bus to the Hollywood Bowl on select concert nights beginning this season.

For LA Phil events, advance bookings are $8 and tickets purchased on the day of an event at the lot are $12.

The Bowl Park & Ride buses are a popular alternative to driving to the venue, where many parking spots are "stacked." While traffic before and after Bowl events often brings gridlock to Highland Avenue, buses get priority access in and out of the venue.

"This new service reflects our commitment to equity, sustainability and joy — bringing music and performing arts closer for more Angelenos," said Los Angeles County Supervisor Lyndsey Horvath, whose district includes the Sylmar area.
