Homeless Pedestrian Fatally Struck By Vehicle In Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES, CA — A 45-year-old homeless man was struck and killed by a vehicle as he tried to cross Venice Boulevard in Palms Sunday evening.

The crash was reported at 8:45 p.m. Sunday on Venice Boulevard at Glendon Avenue, according to a desk officer at the Los Angeles Police Department's Operations Center.

The vehicle was eastbound on Venice Boulevard in the right lane when it struck the man who was walking northbound in the street, the officer said.

The driver remained at the scene, the officer said.
