LA Authorities Seek Public's Help Finding Fatal Hit-and-Run Suspect
Authorities sought public help today to find the person responsible for a fatal LA hit-and-run that killed a man and severely hurt a woman.

LOS ANGELES -- Authorities sought public help today to find the person responsible for a fatal hit-and-run that killed a 27-year-old man and severely injured a 27-year-old woman in February.
Officers responded to a report about a fatal crash around 8:15 p.m., Feb. 19 at Avalon Boulevard north of 135th Street, where a vehicle struck two pedestrians crossing the street, according to California Highway Patrol Public Information Officer Angelia Gonzales.
Gonzales said a 27-year-old man died at the scene, while a 27-year-old woman sustained major life-altering injuries.

Investigators sought additional public leads through photos, videos, social media posts and witnesses to further assist in the investigation. Anyone with any information was urged to contact Gonzales at 424-551-4000 or angelia.gonzales@chp.ca.gov.
